Object: About Your Proposal Of Mediation By President Nana Akufo Addo In Togolese Crisis, Thanks But No Thanks!
Honorable,
As a Ranking member of Parliament’s Committee on Foreign Affairs and a MP for North Tongu, Volta Region (Ghana) you have called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to mediate in the political crisis overtaking Togo right now.
I don’t want to call you a cynic since I ‘am giving you the benefit of the doubt and believing that you are making an honest mistake.
Togolese had been loud clear as the thunder. We want the Gnassingbé regime out! Do you have an idea how many dialogues, negotiations or mediations had taken place in Togo and the Gnassingbé father and son are still ruling the country with iron fist for the past 50 years?
Do you know that when Gnassingbé father died in 2005 (after 38 years of iron rule), his son, the so-called current president massacred 1000 Togolese to seize power, power he and his cronies are using to siphon resources of the country and to line up their pockets with our money? Do you know that Faure Gnassingbé is serving a third term as president? How many terms is a president allowed to serve in Ghana and elsewhere?
We’re just tired of the vicious circle of negotiation/mediation-agreement and non-respect of the agreement by the regime-and negotiations again.
The obnoxious role played by your former president John Mahama during the hold-up presidential election of 2015, election rigged as usual by Faure Gnassingbé is still fresh on our mind. John Mahama and the gang leader Allassane Ouattara of Cote d’Ivoire came to Togo and had browbeaten the opposition leader Jean Pierre Fabre to accept the result of the fraudulent election. “Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me,” such goes a popular saying.
Right now, we don’t need help from anybody. We, the people of Togo had taken back the power and will soon get rid of the mafia leader Faure Gnassingbé.
We don’t want any endless, protracted and labyrinth-like dialogue, negotiation, mediation (whatever you call it). We don’t want any smoke-screen-like negotiation anymore!
To hell with super corrupted and international career politicians and so-called negotiators like Louis Michel, Ibn Chambas, Olesungun Obassandjo Ige Olatokumbe, Siaka Sangare and they like. They are always there to suck our blood and make money on our back while holding us down so the rogue government of the Gnassingbes can torture and kill us in order to easily plunder the resources of the country.
Since Togo doesn’t have nuke to flash or terrorists to export, the International Community see nor hear no evil when Togolese are being gun down by the thousands for simply contesting the dictatorship which had taken Togo in its iron clads for the past 50 years.
Ressources that are meant for the construction bridges, roads, schools, hospitals and social services are diverted toward international summit of this and regional summit of that, in a capital where there is not a single hospital which is on par with a regional hospital in Ghana!
We want our votes to count, and our voices hear this time! We will let no stone unturned and will stop at nothing to have our voice heard.
Honorable, what is going on in Togo now is a revolution. It will sweep anything in its way and get to destination no matter what!
To the Cloak-and-dagger and Svengali negotiators hovering over like vaulters ready to take their master piece of Togolese corrupted cake again, we are declaring them unemployed! They have no more business in Togo. We don't want them and do not need any mediation or negotiation. Faure Gnassingbe must go. This is our motto and it’s clear!
We want the reinstatement of the 1992 Constitution with two Five-Year term limit to the president mandate, the right to vote extended to the Togolese Diaspora and the Two-Ballot voting system. It's a deal. It's not negotiable: take it or leave it. Honorable, do you think the above claims are luxury for Togolese?
Honorable, for your information, I can’t stress enough that there is not a single functioning state-run hospital in Togo. The central one has become a giant slaughter house and a mortuary for the population. Do you care? In Togo, innocent people are rotting in jails for crime fabricated and planted on them (the torching of Lome and Kara Markets is one of many examples): does it mean anything to you? Togolese are dying by the hundreds because they cannot afford to buy aspirin. Do you have a heart?
Students, teachers, doctors, farmers protesting the banana republic and the unequal distribution of wealth are gunned down and killed by Faure Gnassingbe apparatus in a cold-blooded manner. Cheick the names Douti Sinanlengue and Amselme Sinandare and see how these students have been gun down at a demonstration for just asking for a better working conditions for their teachers so they can return to class rooms and teach. Check the uprising in Mango when farmers had been dislodged from their farming land without compensation. They come out to protest the government injustice and soldiers crashed them down and killed them, using their army tanks. No kidding, they used tanks to run over protesters. Does that sounds like a far west movie to you? At the same time, our so-called leaders are living a bling bling life style. They are not working for the money they flash. They are embezzling it, so says the lightheaded Faure Gnassingbe himself, not me. You can check it out. Do you hear or see evil? Do you know what it feels like to have to watch arm robbers parading with stolen money while taunting the people they steal from?
Honorable, I challenge you to do your homework on Togo. Go visit our two so-called universities, talk to the population and come back and tell Togolese to negotiate again with the scum of the earth called the Togolese regime!
The customized opposition leaders the bias International Community used to do business with have become irrelevant. I’m sure France, The Francophonie Israel, the ECOWAS, the AU, and the UN are working around the clock, getting ready to pull out a trick from their magic hat so they can save the moron Faure Gnassingbe and subjugate the population but this time they will hit a rock. The custom made, and straw opposition parties you guys do business with had been overpowered. We have new leader that is showing the way and is leading us to the finish line. We have our Moses that will lead us to cross the River Jordan and this time, it's real business. It’s not a Trojan Horse, nor is it a pipe and dream story. Be aware!
There will be no more horse trading in the back of a smoke-filled room at the expense of Togolese and you guys should know that the cesspool of international corruption has dried out in Togo!
If Faure Gnassingbe still baits you with blood-tainted money of corruption and you people too are still falling prey to that dirty money, it's your own business!
Right now, we are not going to tolerate any distraction no matter where it comes from. We are watching over the revolution and will not let down guard until it's achieved!
Bear in mind that to say Faure Gnassingbe is not a president is an understatement. He is a junior partner of imperialism, a puppet at the hand of the so called International Community and their stakeholders. This explains the fact that in a country where ordinary people are struggling just to storm the weather and make ends meet, the president is hosting fancy International summits, leaving the poor population to pick-up the eye-popping and Jaw-dropping tabs of these high jinks and these acts of self-aggrandizement.
Listen Honorable, It was into your face in Accra, in May 2015 that Faure Gnassingbe had ganged up with Yaya Jammeh of Gambia and torpedoed the project of the incorporation of the limitation of presidential term into the chart of ECOWAS. Do you know what that would have achieved? ECOWAS chart would have towered over the cooked constitution of Togo in order to allow a change at the summit of the state, even though the tailored constitution of 2003 had removed the term limit. What did you and the Ghanaian President who was at the time president of ECOWAS do to bring Faure Gnassingbe home to accepting the natural limitation of presidential mandate? It's too late now for any mediation!
It all set and bound to happen. Faure Gnassingbe is a goner! It's only a matter of time before he crosses your border. For Togolese, it will be a good riddance and a heavy weight off our shoulders. Prepare to welcome him!
In case I ‘am not clear enough, please check the song entitled: “We’re not gonna take it, we’re not gonna take it anymore” by the Twisted Sisters. This revolution song says it all. As per courtesy of me, I’m putting out a few lines here for you to meditate. Anytime you listen to this song, know that we the people of Togo are saying the International Community and mediators: “Hands Up and Hands Off!”
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
We've got the right to choose and there ain't no way we'll lose it
This is our life, this is our song
We'll fight the powers that be just, don't pick our destiny 'cause
You don't know us, you don't belong
We're not gonna take it
No, we ain't gonna take it
We're not gonna take it anymore
Oh, you're so condescending, your gall is never ending
We don't want nothing, not a thing, from you
Your life is trite and jaded, boring and confiscated
If that's your best, your best won't do
We're right, yeah
We're free, yeah
We'll fight, yeah
You'll see, yeah
Etc.….
Yours respectfully,
Koffi Apati-Bassah

Conclusion :
Les barons du RPT ne reconnaissent toujours pas UNIR ;
Ces barons restent sur la ligne dur face à l’opposition regroupée pour une unité d’action ;
Les petits arrivistes qui forment UNIR et qui font la politique pour bouffer commence à paniquer ;
Les traitres qui ont déserté l’opposition à cause de ventre sont marginalisés dans UNIR ;

On a cru épurés les démons du passé ;
Qui viendront sûrement après l’enterrement ;
Combien de deuil faut-il ? Combien d’adolescents
Demeurent silencieux à toutes les prières ;
Réservons nos balles pour de meilleurs combats ;
De grâce, allons vite ! Le temps nous est compté ;
Sa braise non éteinte et laisse des blessures ;

Tread cautiously on Togo crisis – Dr Kwesi Aning, Director of the Fa...
Written by ERIC K. ALOVORThe Government of Ghana must be tactful in any mediation moves it embarks on, as efforts by opposition parties to end the reign of the Eyadema dynasty in Togo heightens, Dr Kwesi Aning, Director of the Faculty of Academic Affairs & Research, Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (KAIPTC), has said.
He was of the view that there are several dynamics at play and leaders in Ghana who try any mediatory moves must be wary not to engage in any actions that will rather have dire consequences.
He said there are actions being taken to ensure that peace is restored in Togo “but because of the Supreme sensitivities of our historical relationships with Togo, Ghana must tread cautiously”.
Violence erupted in certain parts of Togo after a series of protests to restore the 1992 Constitution which prescribes the tenure of office of a sitting president for Togo.
The protestors say they are fed up with the governance of the country by the Gnassingbe family in almost 50 years of power, coupled with corruption, oppression, unaccountability, misuse of public funds and abuse of power to the detriment of citizens.
Seven people are reported dead, as fresh waves of protests are expected in the coming weeks.
The current Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbe, is also the current ECOWAS President.
Dr Aning, who was contributing on a discussion to the development on Class FM’s World Affairs programme on Friday, August 25 told the host, Etse Sikanku, that: “Ghana is intervening at multiple levels but it is not in the eye of the public…there are already consultations with other Heads of States, Foreign Ministers and Chief of Defence Staffs as to what can be done if it gets out of hand so there are multiple levels at which intervention is taking place.”
However, he was of the view that: “One of the challenges for Ghana is that the person who ought to call a meeting is himself a party to the crises, so we are thinking about, how do we circumvent the institutional lacuna here and get AU to act because if the AU does not act, then the UN Security Council will have to act because there are three African members on that Council and in New York, there are conversations going on and everybody is watching.”
For him, the most important question is: “How do we ensure that we can use the institutional mechanisms and framework plus the personal networks and relationships that the Heads of States have to ensure that this does not turn into some bloodbath?”
Togo: Opposition declares ‘Black Friday’ but government gives it l...
Written by ERIC K. ALOVORThe coalition of opposition political parties in Togo has declared today, Friday, August 25, 2017, ‘Black Friday’ as it steps up the gear to end the 50-year rule of the Eyadema dynasty.
The opposition had planned to embark on a demonstration today to press home their demand for an amendment of the Constitution to prevent the continued rule of the Eyadema family.
But Joy News’ correspondent Ivy Setordzi, who is monitoring the situation in Lome reports that the demonstration has been called off.
Rather, the people seemed to have hearkened to the call by the opposition to wear black clothing and armbands to work and embark on sit-down down strike.
Images depict empty streets in Lome with virtually no activity on the Togo side of the border with neighbours, Ghana, Ivy reported.
Meanwhile, the government in a release on Thursday, called on the people to ignore the opposition’s call for workers to declare a Black Friday.
Portions of the release translated from French read:
"There are a lot of messages around on social media about "Togo mort" (Black Friday) this 25th August 2017 but government wish to remind all citizens of Togo that there's nothing like black Friday so the 25th August remain an ordinary day, therefore people can go to work and undertake their normal daily activities...".
Background
The demonstrations organised by the opposition Pan African National Party (PNP) were held simultaneously in Accra, Libreville, New York, and Berlin on Saturday demanding the reinstatement of the 1992 constitution that limits the term limit of the president.
Seven people were reportedly killed and several injured in the northern Togolese town of Sokode.
According to the security minister, about a dozen gendarmes were also injured when the demonstrators overpowered them after they opened fire.
Besides the reinstatement of the constitution, the leader of the PNP party Tikpi Atchadam told the media that they want to immediately end the Gnassingbe dynasty which has ruled 50 years from father to son.
President Faure Gnassingbe who currently chairs the regional body, Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS), has ruled that country since 2005 after the death of his father, Gnassingbe Eyadema, who had been at the helm for 38 years.
Travel warning
In a related development, the Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has cautioned Ghanaians against travelling to Togo on Friday.
According to the GIS, it has picked up intelligence that the opposition in the country is planning a political protest in the capital, Lome to herald the burial of some civilians who lost their lives in last Saturday’s protest against the President and his family.
The Deputy Commissioner of Immigration in the Volta Region, Isaac Owusu Mensah said it will be in the best interest of Ghanaians hoping to travel there to hold on.
“The only issue that has necessitated this is the fact that they are planning a big demonstration so we are just apprising our compatriots to just go about their normal duties and not to get involved in any form of political activity," Mr Owusu Mensah told Citi FM.

The Conundrum - Ethics or Myths: Faure Gnassingbe the Master in Mischi...
Written by Ben Djagba
Today the doddering, chronically senile, the dodgy regime of RPT-UNIR wonders why the so slick tricks no longer work.
It's unfortunate that even the Pinocchio [SIC] would know that time and time, things can decay.
As John Kennedy put in his own rhetoric: “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”
Old wankers, old doggies, same old tricks. As clueless, they become ill-feel when people rise. Crushing the widespread disobedient, and deeply-rooted resistance to death is finding oneself in a state of emergency! It gotta be done solely by the nuts. What a conundrum!!
August 19th, 2017 is living proof that the state of emergency may be over for the people of Togo; very soon. But for the painstaking state of nature of the people of Togo is not over. Our time has come; it is the bright spot for our people to get the driver-seat. RPT-UNIR today finds itself in a state of emergency as people rise against the staged-regime vetted with endemic corruption, and mired in crimes against Togolese. The massive uprisings are now in a full-fledged stake to take over. Gering, a separate peace with our silk determination, is the cotton candy. We will hoodwink and occupy what gets to be occupied. The regime RPT-UNIR was unable to pacify and pander to, and contain the street demonstrations.
The UNIR-RPT raison d’être was to stagnate the people of Togo in dire poverty. For Yark and his cronies, of course, it is the gang of spineless lackeys and flunkies - hand-picked- to lick and nooner their boots of wonkers [SIC]. Na laugh - LOL- We can't negotiate amidst the draconian state of turmoil. How can a chief thief-bandits, police-state negotiate with the people they hold c-a-p-t-i-v-e? Babaaaabaaa, mischief-wolves-in-sheep clothed to negotiate with the s-h-e-e-p?
Shame! Heeba! Would hyenas now want to negotiate with ante-people? Let's see who gets the dinner plates first.
Robert Holmes stated, "Power goes down when people lose fear. And at some stages, you lose control. Power comes from obedience. But power vanishes when one can no longer monitor the instruments of violence. That power is a bygone as people fear not."
What a thug-thinking! Hoodwink Togolese into believing that we might cooperate. Fuck it! I meant fat finger! The RPT-UNIR's days are ticking! They (the cronies) are in denial about a hard-political show. For, a dictator is a dictator. Period -check-marked. Long-gone, the lackeys, are in decay status-quo. It is not always the strongest of the keen that survives, nor the most gun-armored regime that survives. In fact, it is the biosphere that is most adaptable to listen to its people and committed to change. Herein, the time has been the essence; they have shown us that static state of mutation is a status-quo. They love it, don't they? The judgment day is sooner than ever. Don't they believe in a force higher than them? Karambaa! I deciphered Yark as he echoed "Allah" in his recently muttered words. Please don't mock yourself. Even evil hate you, Yark.
Con-demon game is coming close to lock its door! Game over! Tsunami remained dormant for decades until you pushed the red-shit. PNP, Tikpi will not give them a damn! Then what follows is ugly. Yark and his cronies would wonder where the signs of impending eruptions got to summon his throne.
Fact! As the pressure build-ups dark, widespread-ly sweeping and pervasively angering the people of Togo, take it at ease. The time has come to get out with the clay-feet! As Togolese explode without warning, please help yourself, Faure Gnassingbe; it's just a casting catastrophe that lures you on daylight.
Togolese are not marooned, we were red yesterday, and tomorrow comes the rainbow chanters. Please, dance the velvet, Faure Gnassingbe. The orchestra is now on. Let's shake it up. It's no longer your Potemkin Village; please let's discover our island together. Beware of despair and submission - for we nay brutality and butchering. Don't play the monkey. Take your medication to heel your bird-mind. RPT-UNIR is serpent-sly, carload-monkey-artful, and fox-crazy.
Once a thug-dictator, always a thug-bandit! The world across is watching, impatiently what comes next. The next chapter. Want to know what happens next? Please, picture Nero watching Rome under-fire.
Tikpi struck the magic tsunami, it ignited, and outrages. Let's dance the swag. Did I hear RPT-UNIR is sinking, and sinking fast and profound? The clock is ticking anew!

SEVERAL INDEPENDENT TOGOLESE PERSONALITIES LIVING ABROAD CONDEMN THE K...
Written by Dany AyidaWe, citizens of Togo living abroad, are particularly alarmed by the unprecedented and indiscriminate displays of force and the use of lethal weapons by Togo security forces against the peaceful demonstrations organized by the Pan-African National Party (PNP) on August 19, 2017.
These repressions with an unprecedented brutality have once again resulted in the killings of many of our fellow citizens in Sokodé and many more gravely wounded in Lomé, Aného, Kpalimé, Bafilo, Sokodé, Kara and Dapaong. We refuse to stay silent in front of such continuing brutal violence perpetrated against our compatriots who are merely demonstrating their legitimate constitutional rights to restoring the 1992 Constitution approved overwhelmingly by 99.17% of voters with a 74.2% turnout.To this effect, we make the following statement;
